For people who are done saying "sometime"

We should hang out sometime.Tonight. 8pm. Two streets away.

Kaif shows you what is already happening within walking distance, and who nearby is free right now. Join something in two taps, or start your own in under a minute. No feed to scroll, no followers to collect — just a reason to leave the house.

Free to find, join and host. Foreground location only — Kaif never tracks you in the background.

Privacy, in detail

A live map of people nearby sounds alarming. So we built it to be un-alarming.

Read exactly what we store
  • Blurred before it is stored

A grid cell plus a per-person offset. Two people standing together do not land on the same point, and no point on the map corresponds to a building or an address.

  • It expires on its own

Presence lives three minutes, your status two hours, both in memory with a timer rather than a table. Close the app and you fade off the map without doing anything.

  • Only while you are looking at it

Foreground location, full stop. No background tracking, no geofencing, no history of where you have been — not kept privately, not kept at all.

  • Invisible in one tap

One switch takes you off the radar completely while the rest of the app keeps working. Blocking is instant and goes both ways.

Questions

The ones people actually ask

Is Kaif a dating app?
No, and it is designed so it cannot quietly become one. There are no swipes, no matches, and no romantic framing anywhere in the product. The radar shows what you have in common with someone, not how they look ranked against everyone else. Unwanted sexual advances are grounds for removal, and we act on them.
I am not really the kind of person who meets strangers.
Almost nobody is, which is why it works. The most common first Kaif is four people doing an ordinary thing in a public place for ninety minutes, with a group chat you can read before you commit and leave without explaining. You are not walking into a room of forty people to introduce yourself.
What if I turn up and nobody is there?
You can see who has confirmed before you go, the chat tells you if plans are shifting, and hosts who repeatedly cancel lose the ability to host. If a host does not appear, report it and we refund any ticket regardless of their stated policy.

The next month is going to happen either way

You will either spend it meaning to see people, or seeing them. Kaif is free, takes a minute to set up, and the worst thing that happens is you meet somebody new.
